D’Sri Saren Legian-Kuta is conveniently located in the trendy Legian area, a vibrant neighborhood that lays claim to the highest concentration of international restaurants, Euro-style bars and fashion boutiques.
The sweeping Seminyak Beach – located two kilometres from D’Sri Saren, offers sun, sand and surf, glorious coastline views, and a busy, lively atmosphere, especially in the late afternoons when visitors, expats and locals gather to watch yet another one of Bali’s celebrated sunsets.
The main thoroughfare, Jalan Raya Seminyak – just one kilometre from the Villas and Residence – is lined with shops, supermarkets, convenience stores and restaurants, while within three kilometres is Jalan Kayu Aya, packed with a superb choice of fine dining or cheap ‘n cheerful restaurants, cafes, sumptuous day spas, markets, and a shopping centre known as Seminyak Square, as well as numerous independent fashion boutiques showcasing the collections of Bali-based designers. Romantic restaurants, the famous Ku De Ta, La Lucciola, Merah Putih, Sarong, Potato Head Beach Club, and a sophisticated night scene can all be found in the fashionable Petitenget neighbourhood, while a more flamboyant collection of bars and live music clubs can be found on the strip known as Dhyana Pura.
Just 200 metres from D’Sri Saren is Jalan Nakula, which has a few restaurants, a large public gym, a local market, as well as convenience stores and other hotels. McDonalds and Starbucks are about 300 m away on the Sunset Road – a dual-carriageway offering easy access to Kuta, the airport, Sanur and the eastern side of the island.
